Cumberland Court - an award winning development

Janhill's prestigious housing development, Cumberland Court, is now officially an award winning development.  The development was given a Civic Award by the Civic Society.  The award recognises good design preservation and enhancement of the character of the town and the promotion of its identity. 

The presentation evening was held at the Heritage Centre, Macclesfield and Robert Gittins received the award from the Mayor of the Macclesfield Borough, Councillor Barry Burkhill, on behalf of the Company. 

Having immersed himself in the project for 2 years, Rob was delighted that the company's dedication and commitment to preserve the historical value of the property had been recognised.  

All 6 properties, Cumberland House, Stafford House, Derby House, Greaves House, Lomas Mews and The Stables have been sold.
